About The Position

We are

seeking a Locums Trauma Surgery Physician Assistant to provide inpatient trauma

care coverage in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This role supports trauma services

at a well-established facility, with flexible scheduling options and a strong

clinical team environment.

No new grads.

Assignment

Details

Shift Options :

• 7 : 00 – 7 : 00 (12-hour shifts)
• 7 : 00 – 3 : 00 (8-hour shifts)

Coverage Requirements :

Up to 8–9 days per month of

on-site trauma or back-up coverage

Weekday and weekend coverage

needed

Includes inpatient rounding and

trauma service support

Clinical

Details

Daily Patient Volume : Approximately

10 patients

Trauma APP Role : Inpatient

rounding and trauma coverage

Practice Setting : Hospital-based,

Level II or III trauma environment

EMR System : Meditech

Expanse

Qualifications

Active PA license (New Hampshire

preferred or willing to obtain)

ATLS and ACLS certifications

required

Prior trauma surgery experience

highly preferred

Comfortable working autonomously

and collaboratively in a fast-paced trauma setting
