Senior Security Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Senior Security Engineer for a contract with a client in Plano, TX. Responsibilities include designing and deploying advanced cybersecurity platforms and ensuring zero-impact delivery of threat mitigation systems across the network.

Rate Range : $30 / hour to 37 / hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Security Engineer job responsibilities include :

• Design, implement, and maintain advanced Threat and Cybersecurity solutions to protect enterprise systems and data.
• Lead technical planning and execution of security initiatives, ensuring zero-impact deployment across network environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align threat solutions with evolving business and technology requirements.
• Engineer and deploy platforms such as SkyHigh Secure Web Gateway, F5 SSLO, and Trellix FireEye.
• Conduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend process improvements for enhanced security posture.
• Provide technical leadership and support during change activities, including nights and weekends as needed.

Pay Details : $30.00 to $37.00 per hour
