Senior Mechanical Engineer

Overview

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Mechanical Engineer based in San Francisco, CA. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components, conducting research and development, and using computer-aided design (CAD) software to create, optimize and integrate electromechanical components into large physical systems. The engineer will collaborate closely with a small cross-functional team to drive innovation and achieve project goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Mechanical and Systems Engineering
• Experience with CAD software such as OnShape
• Background in Research and Development (R&D)
• 3D printing and rapid prototyping experience is a must
• Excellent creative problem-solving and analytical skills
• Parts and materials selection for system level integration
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Experience working closely with a small cross-disciplinary team
