General Comments : Data Collection : Unit Information : Endoscopy.

Number of Beds : 6 procedure rooms and 13 prep / recovery bays.

Number of Staff : 12.

Type of Staff : 8 nurses and 4 techs on Day Shift.

Patient Ratios : Procedure : 1 : 1.

Prep / Recovery : 2 : 1.

Type of Equipment : Endoscopy.

EMR : Meditech.

Typical Hiring Profile : Skill Set Most recruited for : Must have candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

Typical Procedures Performed : EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy for adults and pediatrics.

Best Personality Fit : Required certifications : ACLS and PALS.

Floating Areas : IR, PACU, and Day Surgery.

Dress Code : Scrub Color / Attire - Royal Blue.

Unit Guidelines / Policies : No phones, minimal call-ins, no ear buds.

Call Requirements : Weekday and Weekend call.
