Training And Exercise Planner
The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Training and Exercise Planner; providing planning, analysis, design, development implementation, and evaluation of training events for both internal and external audiences. Assist with the execution of the Joint Exercise Program to sustain joint force readiness throughout the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, Management and Program Analysis Series, 0343.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-12, or equivalent (may have been obtained in the federal service, military, or public sector). Example of Specialize experience includes expert knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative techniques, including DoD and Joint management principles, methodologies, and financial management directives, to effectively plan, execute, and evaluate joint military exercises and programs for participating in or conducting major large-scale military exercises and / or multifaceted programs such as the Large Scale Global Exercise (LSGE), Globally Integrated Exercise (GIE), and the Joint Training Exercise and Evaluation Program (JTEEP); and thorough and comprehensive knowledge of the Joint Training Exercise and Evaluation Program (JTEEP) processes and capabilities, supporting COCOM exercise and training requirements, and ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and accurate program assessment and ensuring established procedures are followed and developing new solutions to unique challenges posed by changing military needs, mission requirements, and evolving geopolitical contexts.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs) : Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and / or competencies in the following areas :
Part-time or unpaid experience : Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
