Job Description

The Facilities Technician is responsible for efficiently responding to and completing assigned facilities service tickets while ensuring communication is professional and courteous. This role involves performing daily mail and patient chart runs, troubleshooting HVAC systems, scheduling preventative maintenance, and ensuring the building is maintained in a clean, safe, and healthy environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete assigned facilities service tickets efficiently and safely.
• Communicate status updates to requestors in a professional manner.
• Perform daily mail and patient chart deliveries to all sites within specified timeframes.
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems for minor adjustments and coordinate with vendors for repairs.
• Ensure preventative maintenance is scheduled and performed.
• Respond to facility alarms and equipment system failures.
• Perform minor repairs and maintain cleanliness and safety of the building.
• Conduct proactive assessments of service needs.
• Refresh the Hacienda site to ensure cleanliness throughout the day.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks.
• Conduct ergonomics assessments as needed.
• Onboard new hires by setting up their workstations.
• Support safety committee and emergency response drills.
• Coordinate and execute intra-office moves, adds, and changes.
• Provide project support for initiatives and special projects.
• Manage various supplies inventories.
• Assist in mandatory audits of all sites.
• Work additional on-call or scheduled hours as assigned.

Work Environment

The Facilities Technician role is primarily performed during the day shift from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for earlier start times. The position requires travel between local sites, which are 5 to 10 minutes apart. Work is typically conducted in an office environment, requiring mobility to visit various parts of the organization, with occasional lifting and movement of items up to 30 lbs. Extended periods of sitting and standing, as well as operating computer equipment, are necessary. Local travel to other health centers and sites is required.

This is a Contract position based out of Pleasanton, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00 / hr.
