Associate Project Manager - Railroad

A company is looking for an Associate Project Manager - Railroad & DOT Permitting in the Midwest Region.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Project Manager in developing and implementing project plans, timelines, budgets, and staffing schedules

Prepare and track permit applications for railroad, DOT / highway, and other regulatory entities

Collaborate with clients and agencies to facilitate timely approvals and resolve permit-related issues

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree

3+ years of experience supporting permitting, preferably within railroad, DOT / highway, or utility infrastructure projects

Familiarity with state and federal permitting processes and coordination with agencies such as DOTs, FHWA, and rail authorities

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
