A not-for-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center network (FQHC) with locations in New York City and the Mid-Hudson Valley region of New York State is seeking a Family physician in the Mid-Hudson Valley. The Health Center is on the campus of a teaching hospital that has won multiple awards for quality and patient safety, year after year. Established in 1983, the center network is now one of the largest FQHCs in New York, with 26 locations and still growing The Family Physician is responsible for ensuring the care of their patients meets the organizations productivity goals, quality performance measures, regulatory compliance, training needs, and research initiatives. Establish and maintain professional, courteous, and respectful relationships with patients, families, colleagues and other members of the health care team Available to patients and staff. Demonstrate good fundamental knowledge of established clinical practice and use of Evidence Based Medicine. Demonstrate sound clinical judgment. Demonstrate appropriate use of consults. Keeps current with the medical literature. Provide compassionate, appropriate and effective patient care. Maintain good quality medical records Demonstrate an understanding and sensitivity to diversity and a responsible attitude towards his / her patients, profession and society.
