GiaCare Inc. is now accepting applications for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to support the Department of Clinical Services and Surgical Services, Otolaryngology Service at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) in Bethesda, Maryland.
This position supports an innovative Joint Incentive Fund (JIF) collaboration between the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Veterans requiring complex otolaryngology and head and neck surgery services will receive care from the Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery team at WRNMMC. Because many patients travel significant distances for specialty care, this role incorporates both traditional in-person services and telehealth-enabled evaluation and treatment using synchronous and asynchronous virtual health tools.
The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide clinical services to medically complex patients while contributing to quality improvement initiatives and potential research activities supporting the ENT JIF program. Limited CONUS travel for conferences or site visits in support of the program will be required.
