Job Summary :
This position is responsible for assuring that a high quality and safe product is produced and baked.
Essential Job Functions
- Set up baking programs and test all equipment.
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust controls as needed to ensure proper baking
- Inspect baked pies for quality, including color, texture, and aroma
- Load and unload trays of pies into ovens using appropriate equipment
- Set up and verify printer.
- Complete the required paperwork and report to upper management when machine repairs are needed.
- Train new hires.
- Notify upper management of non-conforming products and the supervisor or manager when accidents or incidents occur
Food Safety Responsibilities

Ability to understand verbal and written direction in English and / or Spanish.Frequently lift and / or carry up to 50 Lbs.Frequently push / pull up to 50 Lbs.Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.Adaptability to multi-shift environment.Physical Requirements
Stand / walk for 8+ hours.Frequently lift and / or carry up to 50 Lbs.Frequently push / pull up to 50 Lbs.Ability to walk through production areasExposure to temperature changeVision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception.Hearing ability with appropriate protection in high-noise areas. Wear proper footwearSupervisor : Production Supervisor
Pay rate : $18.25 - $19.00 per hour.
Schedule : Must be able to work any shift.
