Job Description :

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Welder / Machinist to join our team in the Cesium Beam Tube (CBT) department. The Welder / Machinist will also acquire additional roles operating other equipment in the factory. Microchip offers comprehensive on-the-job training to ensure you are fully equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel sheet metal components.
• Operate equipment in a small machine shop.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Operate other equipment which may include media blast cabinets, industrial degreasers, and / or hydrogen furnaces.

Requirements / Qualifications :

The hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in Massachusetts, is $20.05 - $35.00.
