A Pediatric Surgery Physician provides surgical care for children, collaborating with healthcare providers to assess the necessity of surgical interventions. The role involves managing preoperative, operative, and postoperative patient care, with responsibilities including triaging emergency calls and supporting pediatric surgical emergencies. The position requires availability for clinic hours and 24 / 7 emergency consultations in a hospital setting.

Duties include collaborating with other pediatric providers to diagnosis and determine if surgery is necessary. As well as, managing and performing preoperative, operative, and postoperative care.

24 / 7 surgeons will have office support staff during the day to triage incoming calls including RX refills. Majority of after hours calls are from Pediatric Emergency Department.
