Seasonal Tax Reviewer

A company is looking for a Seasonal Tax Reviewer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities :

Review individual and small business tax returns for accuracy and compliance

Verify tax forms and calculations, ensuring adequate documentation supports all tax positions

Provide feedback to tax preparers and communicate with clients to resolve discrepancies

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, EA, or equivalent certification required

3+ years of experience in tax preparation and review, focusing on individual and small business returns

In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations

Proficiency with tax preparation software; Lacerte preferred

Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple tasks efficiently
