divh2NET Developer / h2pThe CACI team is looking to add a .NET Developer to their growing software development contract with the Department of State in Rosslyn, VA. You will be an integral part of the Agile team, working directly with business analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements and develop custom applications. The program emphasizes innovation and seeks individuals who can bring creative ideas to solve complex technical and procedural challenges. This is primarily an on-site position, requiring four days per week in the Rosslyn, VA office. Limited remote work may be possible depending on project needs. This project is part of a significant strategic growth plan centered on human capital systems and other business systems within CACI. Joining this program provides a unique opportunity for career growth within a strategic and successful CACI business line, supporting Federal and Department of State customers while contributing to a mission that protects lives. / ph3Responsibilities / h3ulliWork within an Agile environment to design and develop a complex object-oriented Department of State application, ensuring optimal user experience and maintainability. / liliResearch, design, develop, and / or modify software systems (e.g., custom, COTS, GOTS). / liliCollaborate with business analysts, designers, and subject matter experts to produce detailed specifications and develop software code that meets functional requirements. / liliConduct impact analysis for software changes and develop cost estimates for enhancements. / liliPerform unit testing, document findings, and support formal testing in a controlled environment before code is promoted to production. / liliAdhere to program configuration change control standards. / liliProvide input into training manuals for users. / liliStay updated on new releases and patches for COTS applications (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Momentum). / liliWrite interfaces and conversion routines leveraging APIs and extend applications using applicable tools. / liliContribute to the development of systems that directly support the Department of States mission to protect lives and advance U.S. foreign policy objectives. / li / ulh3Qualifications / h3pRequired : / pulliBachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. / liliActive DoD Secret clearance. / liliMinimum of 5 years of software development experience. / liliFront-End Development : Proficiency in Angular (version 17 or higher), TypeScript (version 5.9), and Bootstrap (version 5.3). / liliBack-End Development : Strong experience with C# .NET (version 8), Node.js (version 20), and ASP.NET Core (version 8.0). / liliDatabase Development : Solid experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS version 21) and Entity Framework (version 8.0). / liliWeb Services : Experience with APIs, JSON, and XML. / liliDevelopment Tools : Familiarity with Azure DevOps for project management and CI / CD pipelines. / liliDesign Principles : Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles and design patterns. / liliCollaboration : Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and manage interactions with varying personalities. / liliProblem-Solving : Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a high-pressure environment. / li / ulpDesired : / pulliExperience with foundational Agile processes. / liliFamiliarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure or AWS). / liliFamiliarity with DevSecOps practices. / liliKnowledge of secure coding practices and compliance with federal cybersecurity standards. / li / ulpA culture of integrity.
