HVAC Service Technician / Installer

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various HVAC equipment in both residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Installer will ensure that all systems are installed according to specifications and operate efficiently.

Responsibilities

Install HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ductwork. - Perform routine maintenance on existing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance. - Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning HVAC equipment as needed. - Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand system designs. - Collaborate with other technicians and contractors on installation projects. - Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions regarding HVAC systems. - Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and equipment repairs. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes during all installations.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an HVAC Installer or similar role in the field service industry. - Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair and appliance repair. - Familiarity with boiler systems is a plus. - Ability to read and understand technical schematics and design plans. - Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. - Valid driver’s license may be required for travel between job sites. - Certification or relevant training in HVAC installation is preferred but not mandatory. Pay : $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours : 40 per week
