Job Summary : Patient Care Coordinator
Location : Optum Starkey 13220 Starkey Rd. Largo, FL 33770
Pay : $19 / hour
Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM (1-hour lunch)
Contract Duration : May 2025 – August 2025
Position Overview :
The Associate Patient Care Coordinator supports front office operations in a medical setting. Key responsibilities include answering phone calls, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, managing check-ins and check-outs, maintaining the waiting room, and documenting patient interactions. The role also involves handling referrals, authorizations, and medical records.
Team Environment :
Work alongside 1 other PSR (Patient Services Representative) and 3 medical providers.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED
Customer service experience
Preferred : Medical front office experience
Required Skills :
Strong communication, organizational abilities, and comfort with administrative tasks such as scheduling, document handling, and patient interaction.
Dress Code : Scrubs
