Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with proficiency in QuickBooks. This position will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Utilize accounting software such as Acctivate and QuickBooks for financial management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of financial reports.
- Maintain organized documentation for all financial transactions and audits.
- Perform clerical duties related to accounting functions, including data entry and document management.
- Invoicing.
- Conduct 10 key typing for efficient data entry and report generation.
