The Auto Services Technician is responsible for all fluid services including oil change, transmission, differential, cooling system, brake fluid maintenance, tire repair, tire replacement, wiper blades and filter replacement as well as additional services as directed by the Shop Manager or Assistant Shop Manager. He / she responsible to Greets and communicates with customers, educating them on necessary preventive vehicle maintenance.
Responsibilities
Performing upper bay and lower bay oil change and inspection functionsPerforming tire repair, tire replacement and tire rotationGreeting customers as they arrive, assist and gives recommendations of proper services as neededExplaining SpeeDee programs, services and pricing structure in order to achieve high customer satisfaction and increased revenuesAttending training sessions that are applicable to the career path and position requirementsPerforming preventive maintenance on fluid services equipmentFollowing appropriate safety procedures and notifying the Shop Manager of safety hazards or needed equipment repairsRequirements

In addition to the duties listed above, every crew member is responsible for general center maintenance and cleaning duties such as mopping, washing center windows and clearing litter, etc. Crew members must attend crew meetings as required, as well as other duties assigned by a supervisor.
