MUST be local to New York City, Hybrid Schedule at least 3 days onsite

Salary Range : $160k to $190k

We're seeking a hands-on Java developer to support front office equities trading systems. Ideal candidates will have strong experience in capital markets and be comfortable working directly with traders and quants.

Key Requirements :

• 5+ years of Java development, preferably in financial services
• Deep knowledge of equities, equity derivatives, and trading workflows (including FIX)
• Experience building and supporting high-performance trading platforms (e.g., order management, stock loan, market data)
• Familiarity with Spring, Hibernate, Kafka or RabbitMQ, and databases like Oracle or SQL Server
• Understanding of front-end tech (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Proven experience with DevSecOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, SonarQube, Tenable)
• Background in automated testing frameworks
• Strong Git and Agile development skills
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
