Location : Albany, NY (Hybrid : 2 Days In-Clinic / 2 Days Remote) + Travel to Syracuse (2-3x / month)
Employment Type : Direct Hire | Part-Time (0.8 FTE, 32 Hours / Week)
Compensation : $92,000 - $147,004 DOE + Comprehensive Benefits

We are seeking an experienced, autonomous, and visionary Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner to launch and manage a new Occupational and Environmental Medicine clinic based in Albany, NY, with regular visits to Syracuse. You will drive clinical care, guide strategic growth, and engage deeply with the community, all while enjoying a flexible, hybrid schedule and competitive compensation.
Role Highlights :
Schedule : 4-day workweek (Monday-Thursday)
Hours : 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM or 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PMWork Model : 2 days in-clinic, 2 days telehealthTravel : Monthly travel to Syracuse (2-3 times / month)Start Date : ASAP (training prior to credentialing)No call, weekends, holidays, drug screens, or narcoticsEMR System : EpicKey Responsibilities
1. Clinical Care (Direct & Indirect) :
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for occupational health concernsProvide direct patient care in both Albany and Syracuse locationsCollaborate closely with the Medical Director, industrial hygienists, and case managers2. Clinic Development & Operations :
Design and implement policies, procedures, and operational workflowsRecruit, mentor, and supervise clinical and administrative staffOversee clinic operations including budgeting, resource allocation, and quality assurance3. Community Engagement & Stakeholder Relations :
Serve as liaison to advisory board and lead community integration initiativesBuild and manage partnerships with local employersDevelop and deliver educational outreach programs for workforce wellness4. Data Analysis & Strategic Outreach :
Analyze and report clinic performance metricsDesign and execute targeted outreach to boost clinic visibility and referral volume5. Research and Regulatory Compliance :
Critically appraise research to guide evidence-based careEnsure full compliance with OSHA and EPA regulationsServe as a regulatory resource for staff and stakeholders6. Quality Improvement & Protocol Design :
Lead continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiativesDevelop clinical algorithms and protocols to enhance care deliveryMonitor performance and implement enhancements based on outcomesQualifications
Required :
Current NYS Nurse Practitioner license (Family or Adult)National board certification (AANP or ANCC)NPI number and Medicare enrollment (or eligibility within 6 months)Master's Degree in NursingBLS Certification (AHA or ARC)Minimum 3 years of clinical experienceStrong leadership, analytical, and communication skillsPreferred :
