Veterinary Client Service Representative / Veterinary Assistant

Hamburg Veterinary Clinic, located in northern New Jersey, is looking for a part time Client Service Representative to join our team. This position is responsible for managing multiple phone lines simultaneously, booking appointments, checking in / out clients, and processing payments.

Must have excellent skills in multi-tasking, client service, and communication. We are looking for someone with a great attitude, outgoing personality, a high level of computer proficiency and exceptional telephone skills. Applicants must be team players who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position, approx. 32 hours, with flexibility to work additional hours.

CSR Responsibilities and Duties :

• Greet patients, their pets, vendors, and other visitors to our medical office
• Educate clients on the importance of preventative care
• Answer patient questions, provide assistance and directions when necessary
• Field all phone calls and send emails
• Utilize our medical office software to schedule new and follow-up appointments for our patients
• Register new patients and update necessary records
• Process bills, invoices, and patient payments in office
