A large hospital in the Whittier area is seeking an experienced Night Shift Pharmacist for a 7on / 7off schedule. This role is ideal for pharmacists with strong inpatient clinical backgrounds who are open to permanent or temp-to-hire opportunities.

Schedule : 7on / 7off, 8 : 00 pm 6 : 00 am

Patient Setting : Inpatient, ~400-bed hospital

Length : Temp-to-hire or direct permanent

System : Allscripts

Primary Responsibilities

Perform clinical and operational inpatient pharmacist duties

Oversee technician workflow and ensure regulatory compliance

Conduct order verification and pharmacokinetic evaluations

Collaborate with nurses and physicians on patient care needs

Support accurate and safe medication distribution across units

Requirements

Active California Pharmacist License

PharmD obtained in the United States

Minimum 5 years of inpatient hospital experience or PGY1 + 3 years

Strong competency in clinical decision-making and hospital workflow

Allscripts experience preferred
