Job Summary

Primary Transportation Services Inc is seeking an

experienced Over-the-Road (OTR) Regional Truck Driver to serve our supply chain logistics department out of ourMadison, WI terminal, with the company home base remaining in Brillion, WI. This role is essential in transporting finished goods and raw materials across regional routes safely, efficiently, and in compliance with transportation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport finished goods and raw materials between manufacturing plants, retail locations, and distribution centers.
• Safely operate and maintain a Class A commercial vehicle, adhering to all DOT regulations.
• Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules and optimize efficiency.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns, performing routine preventative maintenance.
• Maneuver trucks during loading and unloading, ensuring proper handling of freight.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions for accurate shipments.
• Document and log work / rest periods, mileage, fuel, and toll receipts.
• Input data into automated systems, including macros for loading / unloading stages.
• Comply with all truck driving rules and company policies, including size, weight, parking, and break regulations.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
