As an Access Control Security Officer with Allied Universal in a manufacturing and industrial environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Position Type : Part Time Pay Rate : $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule : Day Time : Tue 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Wed 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM What You'll Do : Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities : Monitor and control access points to help deter unauthorized entry into the manufacturing and industrial location. Verify identification and credentials of individuals entering and / or exiting the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures. Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to questions or concerns. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for unusual conditions and report findings as appropriate. Maintain accurate records of access control activities and incident reports in accordance with company and client requirements. Communicate observed risks or unusual activity to Allied Universal management and client representatives as directed. Support emergency response activities as needed, following procedures specific to the manufacturing and industrial environment. What We're Looking For : Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements : At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
