Position summary : A career-minded Water / Wastewater engineer, looking towards advancement, is needed to join JMT’s fast growing Water / Wastewater consultant engineering practice. Employee will plan and lead engineering tasks and projects in the water / wastewater field through working knowledge of applicable design criteria, regulatory requirements, standards and processes; manage multiple design projects; manage preparation and updating of project schedules and cost estimates; develop, analyze and document critical design elements; and coordinate the efforts of a design team to determine requirements and incorporate feedback. The selected candidate will become part of an established team of engineers working on exciting water distribution, sewershed study and rehabilitation, new sewer design, water / wastewater treatment, and pump station projects. The Colorado team supports both local and national projects. Employee is expected to provide quality engineering evaluation and design services efficiently to support the project team’s objective and provide customer satisfaction on all projects.

Working Conditions

Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. within the office environment.

Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat / cold, wet / humid, and dry / arid conditions. Some lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required as needed.
