LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Ophthalmology MD in Michigan!

About The Position

Position Type :  Locum Tenens (1099)

Practice Setting :  Inpatient only – Level III NICU

Coverage Dates :  Variable / As needed

Opportunity Highlights :

Join a dedicated neonatal team to provide  Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP)  assessments in a Level III NICU. This unique opportunity offers a  hybrid schedule  with  remote reading access  and  in-person exams once per week.

Patient Volume :  3–5 neonates / week

Population :  100% Neonatal ROP

Support :  Imaging handled by NNP; neonatologist on-site

EMR :  EPIC

Trauma Level :  III

No other ophthalmologist on staff during coverage period

Requirements :

Board Certified or Board Eligible  – REQUIRED

Active MI license or active IMLC LOQ  – REQUIRED

Must interpret  ROP imaging (photo interpretation)
