Regulatory Insights Analyst I
The Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) is seeking a full-time Regulatory Insights Analyst I. This is a state position governed by the Civil Service Rules, in state government located in Oklahoma City, OK. OMMA offers a comprehensive benefits packet, including a generous benefit allowance to offset the cost of insurance premiums for employees and their eligible dependents. The annual salary for this position is up to $65,000 based on education and experience.

Position Summary
This position is responsible for organizing, analyzing, and reporting data associated with the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) licensed testing laboratories and commercial licensees. Through structured data collection, cleaning, and interpretation, this role will empower informed decision-making across the agency. The incumbent will collaborate cross-functionally with OMMA divisions, staff, and external partners to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and usefulness of data in guiding programmatic initiatives.
Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Education and Experience
Education and experience requirements at this level consist of a bachelor's degree and one year of professional or technical administrative experience in business or public administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
Technical administrative experience would include highly complex clerical work gained under the direct supervision of a professional supervisor or manager.
Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) or more years of experience with large data sets, with data analysis and / or report writing in a professional setting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required at this level include knowledge of the methods of organization and management; of public administration; of agency policies and procedures; of grant or contract program requirements; of the legislative process; of basic research and statistical techniques; and of federal and state laws and regulations relating to administration of assigned programs. Ability is required to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others; to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; to establish and develop training programs; to exercise good judgment in analyzing situations and making decisions; and to organize and present facts and opinions.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Work is typically performed in an office setting with climate-controlled settings and exposure to moderate noise levels. While performing the duties of the job, employee is required to talk, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. This position requires long periods of sitting and daily use of computer and phone.
