Urology Physician

Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting a Board Certified or truly Board Eligible Urologist to join a growing practice at a Level II trauma-designated facility in Michigan. This position offers a collaborative work environment with a balanced clinical and surgical schedule.

Accepting candidates who are truly Board Eligible (must obtain Board Certification within 6 months) or Board Certified in Urology

Reason for coverage : growth

Desired start date : ASAP with approximately 90-day credentialing process

Schedule includes outpatient, inpatient, rounds, and clinic

Collaborative call rotation of 1 : 4, including some weekends, to support sustainable work-life balance

Surgical schedule : two dedicated OR days per week

Clinic schedule : approximately 2.5 days per week

Providers typically see 22 patients per day, including two new patients

Clinic patient volume : patients per day

Facility trauma level / designation : Level II

State-of-the-art facilities with a convenient clinic location minutes from the hospital

Skilled support staff including Advanced Practice Professionals (APPs), five Medical Assistants (MAs), and front office staff

On-site procedures include disposable cystoscopies, vasectomies, BCG and Gemzar instillations, uroflow and urodynamic studies, and prostate biopsies

Streamlined consults with only one hospital to consult, minimizing travel and simplifying workflow

Collaborative medical and administrative team promoting meaningful patient care

Teaching hospital with Graduate Medical Education program and Center for Health Innovation

Documentation system : EPIC EMR

Incumbents may perform additional job-related duties beyond those described

Not open to candidates with lapsed Board Certification seeking recertification

Not open to 1099 candidates

Fixed shift schedules; alternate shifts not accommodated
