Job Title : CT Technologist – Radiology Department

Shift : Thursday 11 : 00 AM – 11 : 00 PM | Friday 11 : 00 AM – 11 : 00 PM | Saturday 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM

Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CT Technologist to join our Radiology Department . The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical proficiency, clinical judgment, and a commitment to delivering safe and accurate diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced environment.

Unit Details :

  • Unit : Radiology (CT)
  • EMR System : Epic
  • Shift Pattern : 3 shifts per week (2 day shifts, 1 night shift)
  • Experience & Requirements :

  • Experience : Minimum 2+ years of recent CT Tech experience
  • Education : Graduation from an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Certification :
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) – Required

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
  • Licensure :
  • Active New York State License – Required at time of submission

  • Must maintain all required registries and licenses per state and federal law
  • Preferred Experience : Additional training or experience in general Radiology

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
  • Demonstrate thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures with attention to comfort and safety.
  • Operate and maintain CT equipment, ensuring compliance with radiation safety regulations .
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to optimize imaging outcomes.
  • Document procedures accurately within the Epic EMR system .
