The Assistant Professor, Black Studies, will report to the Dean of Social / Behavioral Sciences and Multicultural Studies. Primary responsibility for this position will be the teaching a variety of courses in Black Studies. Additional responsibilities of Mesa College tenured / tenure-track faculty include maintaining regular office hours for student advisement, curriculum review and development, serving on College and District committees, and participating in various departmental, school, and college activities.
