Location : Onsite in Portage, IN

Salary : $80-130k DOE

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for industrial automation projects. This role requires a strong understanding of various control technologies and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement control systems for industrial automation projects.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and VFDs.
• Develop and optimize robotics applications for manufacturing processes.
• Conduct control system design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff to develop and implement Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams and specifications.
• Support SCADA system integration and management.
• Utilize CAD and AutoCAD Electrical for system designs and layouts.
• Implement motion control systems in various applications.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff.
