Overview :

While working in a supported day program setting in Union, MO, our DSPs also assist individuals with their activities of daily living (ADLs). These include skills that are necessary to meet basic physical needs; personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, ambulating, and eating. These also include some more complex activities like managing finances, medication management, housekeeping, and physical and mental exercise. The LO-DSP works within the individual’s ISP plans to assist them in achieving goals and outcomes.

Requirements :

• Must be 18 years of age at the time of application
• Experience working with individuals with developmental, cognitive, or intellectual disabilities and Individual Service Plans (ISPs) is preferred.
• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or be enrolled in a general equivalency program at time of application
• Valid driver's license
• Valid state minimum auto insurance
• Willing to operate an agency vehicle
