Construction Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) – Federal / Military Projects (USACE / NAVFAC)

Base pay range : $100,000.00 / yr – $135,000.00 / yr

Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO)

Overview : We are hiring an experienced SSHO to manage site safety on federal construction projects for USACE and NAVFAC. The SSHO ensures full compliance with the Accident Prevention Plan and EM 385-1-1 standards, driving proactive jobsite safety.

Key Responsibilities :

• Implement and enforce the Accident Prevention Plan (APP)
• Conduct daily site inspections and lead toolbox talks
• Develop and maintain AHAs and safety documentation
• Coordinate closely with Superintendent and QCM on safety matters
• Conduct incident investigations and maintain OSHA 300 logs
• Maintain SDS library and safety records onsite
