Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical - Travel - (MS RN)

StartDate : ASAP

Available Shifts : 12 N

Pay Rate : $1721.42 - $1897.07

Majority care will be Peds with some Adult

Will accept a first-time traveler? No

Permanent staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler

Travelers cannot live within a 75-mile radius of the facility

Patient Types :

Discussed in detail during phone interview – experience and comfortability to care for Adults and Pediatrics is required

Support on the Unit :

RT, 24 / 7

Responds to codes / RRT

Crash cart checks

Intensivist 10-minutes away at night

House Supervisor, 24 / 7

Charting System / Equipment :

EPIC

BD Alaris IV Pumps

Omnicell (medication dispensing)

Monitors : Spacelabs

Floating :

Within or below scope of practice

Orientation :

1 day of Hospital orientation – will include EPIC modules or test

2 shifts in department with preceptor

Scheduling :

Weekend rotation : every other

Call : not required

Holiday Expectations : rotation with other staff

Approval of time off : Manager approval (opted out of CIS)

Scrub Color : Ceil Blue and / or Pink

Registered Nurse, MS

Licenses : RN(Compact Accepted)

Certifications : BLS; PALS

References : 1 Reference in the last 12 months

NCI Cert (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention)

PEDI SCL and Reference within in year
