Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician

Location: Tucson Arizona! Renowned for its breathtaking and beautiful desert landscapes that draw in visitors from all over the world. Located in the Sonoran Desert, the city is surrounded by stunning vistas that include towering cacti, rugged mountains, and a range of unique flora and fauna.

Facility: A private company that provides medical disability examination and evaluation services to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Opportunity:

• ASAP - ongoing
• Willing to accept providers with sporadic availability - will be on an as-needed basis.
• Two (2) options listed above - Travel and perform exams at leased facility and/or schedule Veterans within your own practice (noted above what is allowed)
• Will bill per exam
• Initial PTSD exams, follow up PTSD exams, and other mental health exams
• DMA certification available (can get CME credits) will need to obtain once privileged if not already certified
• Own personal laptop (NO MACs)
• (DBQs)
• Evaluations to be completed in provider portal
• Record review is required in most cases
• No call!
• No weekend!

Compensation:

• Initial PTSD Exam (includes times to complete exams, submit report, including any addendums, no OT)
• PTSD follow up and all other mental health exams (includes times to complete exams, submit report, including any addendums, no OT)
• One time bonus for completing all required training
• Mileage - IRS Standard Rate (for personal vehicles only)
