Job Title : Medical Assistant - Riverton, Utah
Job Description
This role provides comprehensive support in a clinical setting, ensuring smooth patient flow and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Patient Interaction : Welcome and assist patients and visitors with professionalism and hospitality.
Registration & Documentation : Accurately register patients and document vital signs, symptoms, and complaints in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Clinical Support : Perform triage, collect samples (e.g., urine), and maintain exam rooms between patients.
Administrative Tasks : Handle payments, manage inventory and supply orders, and perform general office duties such as emails and phone calls.
Team Collaboration : Support both front and back office functions, train new staff, and adapt to daily assignments.
Essential Skills
Experience in medical assisting, patient care, and healthcare.
Proficiency in electronic health records and phlebotomy.
Strong customer service and appointment scheduling skills.
Ability to see, hear, and accurately read and write medical terminology.
Outstanding bedside manner with both pediatric and adult patients.
Fluency in English with the ability to type 45 WPM.
Technology proficiency, including EMR experience and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Urgent Care / fast track ER experience is a plus but not required.
A positive and energetic attitude that inspires other team members.
Demonstrated ability and strong commitment to exceptional patient care and customer service principles.
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Must have reliable, independent transportation to travel to various locations during any given shift.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, regular business hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverton, UT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00 / hr.
