American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist experienced in advanced cardiac procedures and possessing current ACLS, BLS, and ARRT or RCIS certification.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a cardiac catheterization lab serving adult and geriatric patientsPerform procedures including cardiac implant closure device placement, stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, IABP placement / removal, PCI, PTCA, and rotabladder athrectomyResponsibilities include scrub procedures, equipment setup, and interpretation of dysrhythmiasDay shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts, 7 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PMWeekend requirement is a minimum of 1 day per week and 1 full weekend every 5 weeksOn-call required : 4 weekdays and 1 weekend per 6-week scheduleMust be able to work assigned major holidays based on assignment length and facility policyReturning travelers must have been away from all related facilities for at least one yearTravel pairs cannot be scheduled for the same shift in the same unitNo blocked scheduling permittedMaximum of 7 days requested time off (RTO); no RTO allowed during the first weekFull compliance with all documentation required prior to startOrientation occurs bi-weekly and compliance must be met to start on time\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 1 year recent Cath Lab experienceCurrent ACLS and BLS certificationsARRT or RCIS certification requiredProficiency with sterile technique and life-threatening arrhythmia recognitionExperience with cardiac implant and stent procedures, diagnostic and left heart catheterizations, IABP, PCI, PTCA, rotabladder athrectomy, and scrub rolesAbility to care for adult and geriatric patient populationsLicense required if applicableTwo supervisory references from managers or higher required for consideration\n Benefits\n
