As a patrol armed officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence at a government location. Sat 06 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sun 08 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the government facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access.

Report and document any unusual activity, incidents, or security-related breaches according to Allied Universal protocols.

Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Operate communication devices to maintain contact with Allied Universal management and / or site supervisors.

Adhere to all client and Allied Universal policies and procedures while performing armed patrol duties.

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Baton certification is preferred.

Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and / or baton is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
