Director, Global Talent Partner
This role will be based in San Francisco, New York or Chicago.

We are looking for a Director, Global Functional Talent Development Partner to strategically partner with LinkedIn's Global Business Organization, while being a hands-on leader capable of rolling up their sleeves, driving execution, managing multiple projects end-to-end, and effectively overseeing people and resources. This role will require strong influence with stakeholders at all levels through data-driven insights and impactful storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess the GBOs global talent development needs, creating and implementing a strategic talent development strategy aligned with business outcomes, complete with clear success measures.
- Build and nurture trusted partnerships with senior GBO leadership, HR teams, and key stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted learning advisor by diagnosing root causes, recommending holistic solutions (including non-training interventions), and respectfully challenging assumptions to enhance business impact.
- Lead and manage a small team of Talent Development Partners based in NAMER, providing direction and oversight of strategy implementation globally.
- Lead end-to-end execution of talent development initiatives, managing planning, resourcing, multiple workstreams, and delivery effectively.
- Collaborate closely with regional Talent Development Partners and COEs for cohesive global execution and effective regional activation.
- Partner with Centers of Excellence (e.g., Manager and Executive Development, Performance Management) to inform enterprise-level program design based on functional development needs.
- Influence stakeholders at all levels using compelling, data-driven storytelling to secure alignment and buy-in for talent development initiatives.
- Facilitate learning and leadership team effectiveness sessions as learning practitioner.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in HR, L&D, Organizational Development, Talent Management, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.12+ years professional experience, including at least 7 years in L&D, Business HR Consulting, or Organizational Development.5+ years experience managing people.Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in HR, L&D, Organizational Development, Talent Management, or related field; or equivalent practical experience.Proactive, innovative, and organized leader.Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.Strong relationship-building and influencing skills with internal and external partners.Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal and consultative skills with all levels of management.Strong problem-solving and design-thinking skills.Strong business acumen and experience in aligning talent development initiatives with business goals and clearly articulating L&D value in business terms.Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in learning science, talent strategy, and leadership / talent development measurement.Comfortable using storytelling and data to communicate impact and influence decision-making.Certified coach.Suggested Skills

The pay range for this role is $172,000-$280,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and / or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
