Shift / Hours : Monday – Friday 7 : 00 a.m.– 4 : 00 p.m. (Pacific Time)

Job Summary

The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the organization, providing compassionate and efficient phlebotomy and specimen collection services. This role involves drawing quality blood samples , preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining patient trust through professional and empathetic communication.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily collection and processing activities accurately and on schedule under supervision.

Maintain a safe, professional work environment and comply with all protocols.

Conduct both forensic and clinical specimen collections with confidence and precision.

Accurately complete required records and documentation.

Uphold confidentiality and organizational commitment while promoting a positive public image.

Required Experience

Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (required).

Customer service experience in a retail or service setting (preferred).

Keyboard / data entry skills (required).

Nice-to-Have Experience

One or more years of phlebotomy experience.

Prior experience supporting forensic or clinical lab operations.

Required Skills

Phlebotomy (licensed in CA required).

Attention to detail and accuracy in specimen handling.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

Pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy competency.

Data entry and record-keeping accuracy.

Adaptability for weekends, holidays, and overtime coverage.

Additional Skills

Customer service orientation.

Compliance with safety and confidentiality standards.

Professional interpersonal communication.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred).

Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, and WA).
