Security Professional - Unarmed Distribution Site

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Distribution Site in Jeffersonville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication while supporting a secure environment. Pay Rate : $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Mon 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Tue 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Wed 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Thur 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or access.
  • Monitor logistics and distribution areas for any suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.
  • Observe and report any property damage, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols.
  • Work closely with site personnel and visitors to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
  • Assist with access control by verifying credentials and / or identification as required by site policies.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located and must meet with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
