We are looking for a Senior HVAC Design Engineer with specialized expertise in Science & Technology and / or Healthcare projects to sit in either our Newark office or in NYC.

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to complex, high-performance facilities while mentoring junior engineers and shaping project outcomes.

Some of your responsibilities include the following :

• Lead HVAC system design for large-scale projects across Science & Technology, Healthcare, Academic, and Commercial sectors.
• Establish system design criteria and perform engineering calculations (e.g., load, airflow, pressure drop).
• Oversee the preparation of design documentation including drawings, specifications, and equipment schedules.
• Coordinate and supervise the technical work of design teams, ensuring adherence to quality and performance standards.
• Conduct field investigations and site assessments as necessary during design and construction phases.
• Interface with clients, architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Lead QA / QC reviews of HVAC deliverables.
• Utilize and provide direction for BIM / Revit modeling and documentation processes.

This position could sit in Newark or NYC office and has a salary range of $120,000 to $170,000, inclusive of base salary and performance-based incentives. The range is dependent on your years of experience, FE / PE licensure, skill sets and education and is negotiable.
