Shift : Rotating / On-call

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and controls in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of plant machinery and infrastructure by applying electrical expertise and adhering to company and regulatory safety standards.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including motors, drives, relays, control panels, PLCs, and other electrical components.
• Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures in accordance with electrical codes and company standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams to perform accurate diagnostics and repairs.
• Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for production and utility systems.
• Maintain and repair low and medium-voltage power distribution systems and motor control centers (MCCs).
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently and safely.
• Follow OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company-specific safety protocols, including Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) and arc flash procedures.
• Document all work completed, including parts used and time spent, using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Support inventory management by requesting replacement parts and assisting with stock level reviews.
• Work with outside contractors and vendors as needed.
