HiFyve is hiring a Senior Blow Molding Technical Expert in the plastics manufacturing industry in Romeoville, IL!

Salary : Up to $120,000 / year DOE

Shift : Full-Time – 1st Shift

Location : On-site – Romeoville, IL

Position Overview

We are seeking a senior-level technical expert with extensive blow molding knowledge to support high-volume plastics manufacturing operations. This individual will serve as the go-to resource for technical problem-solving, process optimization, and team training. The role requires deep, hands-on experience with blow molding machinery, tooling, and process engineering.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead advanced troubleshooting of blow molding machinery and downstream equipment
• Optimize processes to improve product quality, reduce scrap, and maximize uptime
• Train and mentor technicians and supervisors on best practices for machine setup and changeovers
• Collaborate with plant leadership to identify process improvements and capital investment needs
• Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment or technology upgrades
• Serve as the subject-matter expert for blow molding technical challenges at the Garland facility
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and internal safety standards while driving operational excellence
