Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) – 8-Hour Days

Location : Kingston, PA

Start Date : 12 / 1 / 2025

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Days, 6 : 45 AM – 3 : 15 PM (Call required : 1 every 6 days, including weekends)

Experience Required : 2 years OR RN experience; 1 year travel experience

Position Overview :

A facility in Kingston, PA is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 13-week travel contract. The RN will provide perioperative care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient outcomes.

Responsibilities :

Deliver patient-centered perioperative care in accordance with AORN and hospital standards

Scrub and assist during surgical procedures

Manage surgical supplies and maintain timely case flow

Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and families

Float as needed to pre-op and endoscopy units

Requirements : Active RN license

Minimum 2 years OR RN experience

Minimum 1 completed travel assignment

BLS (AHA) required

Floating required (pre-op and endoscopy)

Unit Details :

Patient Ratio : 1 : 1 or 2 : 1

Beds on Unit : 13

EMR : Cerner
