Business Analyst - Transmission & Substation Services

The Support group Transmission & Substation Services organization is responsible for condition-based transmission tariff capital projects and substation capital programs. Individuals in this position would track projects through the PLMP life cycle, create reports on project metrics, coordinate projects with other sponsor groups, and develop capital portfolio rounds presentations. This position can be located anywhere in the FE territory, with a preference for Akron, Ohio, Greensburg, PA, Reading, PA, or Fairmont, WV.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include :

• Supporting engineers on capital project sponsorship.
• Creating reports / metrics on projects sponsored by the group.
• Developing capital portfolio rounds meeting presentations.
• Program management for substation capital programs.
• Supporting activities / reporting related to joint owned substation facilities.
• Assisting with greenhouse gas reporting to the EPA.
• Coordination and facilitation of various activities the group is responsible for.
• Supporting the emergency plan through participation in assigned storm duties.
• Maintaining a safe workplace for coworkers and the community based on a developing knowledge of potential hazards, industry regulations / requirements, and company practices.
