Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A California licensed specialist is sought for an immediate opportunity in a K-12 school setting, with a contract lasting until at least June 2, 2025. This role involves working with a diverse student population, addressing a range of needs within a 30-35 student caseload across neighboring school districts.

Qualifications :

  • Valid California Occupational Therapy License
  • Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in school settings
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing diverse caseloads effectively
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to occupational therapy in schools

Location :

  • Delano, CA, with travel required to neighboring school districts
  • Responsibilities :

  • Provide occupational therapy assessments and develop therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students' overall development
  • Implement therapy sessions and monitor student progress, ensuring alignment with IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student outcomes
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities as required
