ERM is seeking a Managing Environmental Compliance Consultant / Project Manager to specialize in Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) and Tier II reporting. The role involves leading nationwide EPCRA reporting and consulting teams, providing senior project management, technical leadership, and QA / QC review on EPCRA TRI / Tier II calculations and reports, as well as other EHS compliance projects for clients locally, nationally, and internationally. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with an expert team on challenging environmental reporting projects for large industrial and global clients, with access to ERM's national EHS Management Systems & Compliance experts for knowledge sharing and ongoing learning.
Responsibilities :
- Support the growth of ERM's EPCRA Reporting Program and Portfolio.
- Provide regulatory interpretation and guidance on complex TRI applicability, calculation, and reporting issues.
- Perform complex data analysis and organization to support TRI threshold and release calculations.
- Manage multiple large-scale projects within scope, budget, and schedule expectations, ensuring quality standards.
- Conduct final QA / QC reviews of EPCRA TRI and Tier II calculations and reports across various industries and states.
- Ensure timely and quality delivery of reports.
- Lead multi-year audits of EPCRA reporting programs and resolve compliance findings.
- Support litigation projects under attorney-client privilege and EPA's Audit Policy.
- Provide on-site environmental compliance support to clients.
- Develop client relationships and contribute to business development.
- Delegate project tasks and mentor junior staff.
- Foster collaboration among ERM team members.
Requirements :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental or chemical engineering, chemistry, environmental science, or related field.Experience with chemical nomenclature, reactions, SDSs, and key chemicals identification.Extensive experience in preparing and QA / QC reviewing EPCRA Tier II / TRI calculations, auditing, and familiarity with EPA's Audit Policy.Deep understanding of EPCRA regulations and guidance.Experience in air release calculations is preferred.Minimum 8 years of EHS consulting experience in manufacturing, oil & gas, power, mining, or chemical sectors.Strong MS Office skills; advanced Excel skills; experience with PowerPoint, PowerBI, Access preferred.Experience with SAP is a plus.Excellent communication, analytical, and technical report writing skills.Ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and travel as needed.Work independently with minimal supervision.This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.The annual base pay ranges from $90,812 to $112,715 USD, based on various factors.
