Full-time and Part-time Teller (McComb)

Job Opportunity : Teller

This position is for full-time and part-time teller with a company in McComb, MS. Subject to working any shift hours Monday to Thursday 7 : 45 am to 4 : 30 pm and Friday 7 : 45 am to 6 : 00 pm. Some afterhours might be required Monday to Thursday to 6 : 00 pm. Some Saturdays required (8 : 30 am 1 : 30 pm). Duties and responsibilities : Responsible for processing deposits, transfers, withdrawals, and all other transactions and functions as a bank teller. Must perform all transactions and duties within established policies and procedures. Responsible for handling and securing large volumes of cash and balancing individual cash drawer daily. Must be continuously aware of fraud loss and check cashing guidelines. Must provide optimum customer service and cross sell bank products. Responsible for regulatory reporting requirements associated with the teller position. Subject to performing cash shipments between branches and performing vault teller functions. Will be required to train other tellers as needed. Education and experience : High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred. Cash handling experience or sales experience. Conscientious worker with excellent customer service skills. Ability to perform multiple daily tasks and work under pressure with speed and accuracy. Excellent attendance. Professional appearance and cooperative attitude. Understanding of customer service techniques, PC / 10 key functions. Ability to lift / move / carry approximately 50 lbs. if required to perform the essential job functions.
