Job Purpose

This position reports to the Manager, NY Electric Data Governance. The Sr Data Governance Analyst plays a pivotal role in establishing, implementing, and ensuring data governance practices through collaboration across business operations and technical functions. This role will support and enable digital projects and processes , and is designed for individuals who excel in governance, policy and process development, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Accountabilities

• Working with the Data Governance team and partners, design, implement, and manage a comprehensive Data Governance framework : Provide guidance on data standards and tools, develop policies and procedures, gain buy-in on ownership through effective communication and relationship building, and lead communities of practice to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Perform end-to-end review of data requirements while ensuring alignment with the Data Strategy.
• Conduct data quality assessments and root-cause / impact analysis of data issues. Work with business and IT stakeholders to implement necessary changes and improvements.
• Develop detailed data-process maps and documentation (current and to-be state).
• Develop collaborative engagement plans on data management requirements and best practices. Work with stakeholders to execute effective communities of practice.
• Effectively deliver complex messaging and presentations to diverse audiences to ensure understanding and gain buy-in.

Salary : $101,000 - $119,000

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Internal candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
